When comparing Sqwincher vs Gatorade, there are plenty of things you could look at—sugar, calories, flavor, price, or how each drink fits into a workout.

Regular Gatorade Thirst Quencher provides 160 mg sodium and 45 mg potassium per 12-fl-oz serving.

So the interesting part is that neither product dominates every electrolyte.

Sodium

Sodium is quite close between these two formulas.

Sqwincher ZERO Qwik Stik provides 135 mg of sodium per stick, while Gatorade Thirst Quencher provides 160 mg per 12 fl oz.

That gives Gatorade a 25 mg sodium advantage per labeled serving.

There is an important serving-size detail here. Sqwincher’s 135 mg is intended for 20 fl oz of water, whereas Gatorade’s 160 mg is listed for 12 fl oz.

For example, Sqwincher ZERO powder provides 85 mg sodium and 70 mg potassium per 12-fl-oz prepared serving, while the Qwik Stik ZERO provides 135 mg sodium and 110 mg potassium when prepared to 20 fl oz.

So when someone says “Sqwincher has X mg of sodium,” it is worth checking which Sqwincher product they mean.

The same idea applies to Gatorade. Gatorade has several formulas, and Gatorade Thirst Quencher is not the same electrolyte formula as Gatorlyte or every other Gatorade product.

For this comparison, the numbers above specifically refer to Sqwincher ZERO Qwik Stik vs regular Gatorade Thirst Quencher.
